Hi I’m Joshua, the Red Backed Bearded Saki. You can find me lounging at the top of the trees that make up the forest of Monkeyland in Plettenberg Bay.
I have mostly black fur except for the gingery red on my back that together with my black beard gives me my unique name.
As I enjoy eating mostly nuts I am blessed with very keen eyes and exceptionally strong teeth to crack open the tastiest nuts in the forest.
If you’d like to help preserve my forever home, consider buying a square meter of forest – your support ensures that I and my fellow monkey family can thrive for generations to come.
